I've grown weary of typing these reasons in over and over (having long
since lost count of the number of times I've done so - here, in nsrg,
and elsewhere) - so I've attempted to summarize them on a web page.  I
expect to update this page in the future to include further explanation,
clarification, things I've forgotten, or relevant things that others
bring to my attention.
