No, but that's not what PaulW said.

used by our users that I'm aware of and it adds code complexity.
No one considered it relevant to TLS until researchers discovered the
problems there. I think that's PaulW's point, and one that I agree with.
Yes. Which is why I wanted to hear more convincing arguments to justify it.
