First of all, I want to thank all at Ipswitch for their support. Having
looked at just about all the options and frustrations I am however hesitant
in going on testing the system. Apart from a business application I have
also been asked by my partner (she's blind) to see if this IM can be used
for her and about 600 blind colleagues worldwide...... Talking about
breathing down my neck ;-)

Simply said, the behaviour of the current set up is erratic to say the
least. Having had to leave and work somewhere else at present, I took my
laptop with me and connected to the IM server at the office from the outside
world....

I can see the users (all outside of the network) but cannot send any
messages. Another member however can send me ONE message, the rest remains
on the server.... Yes, all hacks and wotever have been put in place.
I have checked all DNS entries yesterday, and all is well.

In short, I am having a problem regarding starting to use this, let alone
test it, as I do feel (and I am NOT trying to be nasty here) that there are
some bugs in the software.

I find it a tad difficult to figure out all the settings (as one doesn't
have that much information) let alone have test persons getting frustrated
because of things not working.

In short, might one state that perhaps this system does work brilliantly on
local networks, but has some issues where it comes to forewalls, extrenal
users and so forth?
