Rick, as you may have seen from my previous postings I haven't exactly been
beaming with joy here and there. But, and I can assure you of this, there is
a bunch of people behind the system who have been most supportive with a
number of issues we found. LIke I did, hang in there, things will come to a
better ending I am sure.
Regarding the newest message shown on top I beg to differ, simply because of
the fact that we're testing stuff for use by visually impaired people. Doing
what you suggest would mean that a voice synthesizer would start rereading
the whole conversation from the top, which would kill a person in 3 minutes.
Compare it with MSN (mega yuck), they do it bottom up as well.

In short, keep on ploddiung away like we did, and things will start to work
(we have already had IIM systems running with users from different locations
and networks, and it went bloody well.

Nic

This issue has been brought to the attention of IPSwitch before.. the
messages should be readily readable without a user/client having to click
the slide bar to death.. newest messages on top.. 'This is how EVERYONE else
in the WORLD does it' and it makes sense.

Sorry for the harshness but this product has been a thorn with me from the
begining..

cheers,

~Rick
