I have just noticed that this topic seems to be going on simutaniously on both the IPv6 and v6OPS mailing lists.
The two threads are not coordinated, but both seem very concerned with IPv6 Type 0 Routing Header issues. This is seperate to the rash of Linux related warnings that have come out in the new IPv6 news - weekly summary : *Security: *Linux Kernel IPv6 Protocol Type 0 Route Header Remote Denial of Service Vulnerability http://www.ipv6tf.org/news/counter.php?id=2837<http://mail.softhome.net/email?timestamp=1177957366&md5=pRuj%2BiFkKKYGt0gdD1Wxmg%3D%3D&redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ipv6tf.org%2Fnews%2Fcounter.php%3Fid%3D2837> FreeBSD Security Advisory - IPv6 Routing Header 0 is dangerous http://www.ipv6tf.org/news/counter.php?id=2834<http://mail.softhome.net/email?timestamp=1177957366&md5=pRuj%2BiFkKKYGt0gdD1Wxmg%3D%3D&redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ipv6tf.org%2Fnews%2Fcounter.php%3Fid%3D2834> OpenBSD IPv6 Type 0 Route Headers Denial of Service http://www.ipv6tf.org/news/counter.php?id=2819 It concerns me that the two teams are working seperatly to solve the same issue.
