Moin Liste,

Euch damit einigermaßen auskennt, dann meldet Euch.

Der Termin und Ort wird sich vermutlich in den nächsten drei Wochen
auch klären, aber im Moment sind innerhalb der GUUG alle mit dem
Frühjahrsfachgespräch beschäftigt.

Viele Grüße und eine schöne Woche,

    Benedikt

                           Call for Papers

1st European Conference on Applied IPv6
                              (1. ECAI6)

                          August 30/31, 2007
                      Holiday Inn Hotel, Cologne

The European Conference on Applied IPv6 is a technical conference for
IT professionals interested in the new Internet Protocol, Version 6
(IPv6).

It focuses on the real-world aspects of IPv6 use. The event brings
together active and prospective IPv6 practitioners to share their
experiences about deployment strategies and operations pitfalls,
discuss IPv6 use in new projects and learn about upcoming trends and
developments.

Topics
------
You are involved with IPv6 on a hands-on basis? Then share your
experiences, good and bad, with those who follow in your wake.

We look for speakers who are willing to talk about

  - their experiences in rollout,
  - the specific problems they ran into...
  - ... and how they solved them (or not),
  - their current best practices,
  - new projects using IPv6,
  - security aspects,
  - new operations-related trends and specifications

and similar IPv6-related topics.

Talk Submissions
----------------
Presentations should take about 45 minutes including discussions.

Please send abstracts (plain ASCII text, no more than 2000 words) and
a short speaker's biography to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. All
abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee.

For the conference proceedings we expect you to submit a paper of
approximately 2--10 pages (A4 format, 1" borders, no page
headers/footers, preferably PDF or PostScript).

Tutorials
---------
If you want to hold a more in-depth tutorial rather than a regular
talk, then we can allocate time slots for tutorials of either 90 or
180 minutes.

Again, please send abstracts to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Travel Expenses
---------------
As a speaker we will cover your accomodation and participation costs
at the conference, including the social event. Beyond that, travel
expenses are generally not covered by us; if this poses a problem to
you, please contact us so we can try to organize additional
sponsorship.

BoF Sessions
------------
Additionally, BoF (birds-of-a-feather) sessions will be held. If you
already intend to propose a BoF topic, please let us know so we can
announce it in advance.

Exhibition Booths and Sponsoring
--------------------------------
We have some exibition space available. If you or your company want
to set up a booth or are interested in sponsoring the event, yet again
please contact us as <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Deadlines
---------
Abstracts due: May 01, 2007
Notification of speakers: June 01, 2007
Final papers due: July 31, 2007
