My experience with KEX 1190 with their IBOC hash on 1180 & 1200, I have
to phase their daytime signal down to below S9 to knock the IBOC hash to
a low level to hear 1180 & 1200 generally. So if the IBOC station is S9
or more, the hash is quite strong.  KCVR 1570 Lodi CA at 600 miles away.
They are 5 KW with 500 w of IBOC hash at the most I presume. In the
mornings, I can easily hear their hash on 1557 and 1584 here. Strong
enough to knock out a weak TP or DU. So it does not take a lot of signal
to get plenty of IBOC hash.
