Paul and Willis,

I "Googled" WLES and the first hit seems to be for the old format that WLES
had before it went silent. The second hit took me to WTRU-830, and their
site indicated "New 580 Richmond" and "New 960 Charlotte." The latter has
to be WAAK, Dallas.

So this could be WLES back on the air. I'll try correlating 830 and 580
for audio.

This DOES seems to be a strong possibility, but the signal is so weak that
I'd have to estimate WLES as running 50 - 100 watts, effective power.

Possibly the station's running on very reduced power or the radials have
been stolen. If so, I'd expect them to repair it as it cannot be covering
Richmond worth a dern.
