I can think of one owner who filed his license renewal 2 1/2 years late. I know he didn't forget, because I even reminded him several times in the year prior that license renewal was coming up middle of next year! But i agree with Scott, stations failing to file a renewal on time is usually because someone who was supposed to do it didn't know. When you have absentee owners and such, things can get interesting.
