All of this information and much more about every AM, FM and TV station is in
the FCC database, which isn't hard to use. The fascinating history cards for
many AM stations are there. For basic information FCCInfo.com is faster and
displays more information on the same page. It can organize information that
would be very difficult to organize using the FCC database. Do you want to know
exactly how far you are from a transmitter site or which sites are within
whatever number of kilometers you choose? Use FCCInfo.com. Here's a list of AM
stations within 15 kilometers of where I live. Notice that three are the same
distance and bearing. They're using the same tower.

http://www.fccinfo.com/CMDProFacLookup.php?sKilometers=15&sLatitude=34-24-20.0&sLongitude=119-42-6.0&tabSearchType=Within&sCurrentService=AM&order=15%7CA%7CN

All I needed were the geographical coordinates, which can be found in free apps
for your smartphone. Give these websites a try. Feel free to email me directly
for tips and/or help.
