I think that presidents would be correct in not giving the bent arm RoW I'd agree (if i'm presiding) that due to the new timings, a flick is not as threatening as it was. Problem is that a lot of ref's are stuck in the old mindset, advancing with your point aimed at Jupiter is still an attack! It'll take a while for them all to come around. In modern day fencing, it has become the advancement that defines the attack, not neccess. the point aimed at the target.
