there is a little problem. most terminals support only 16 colors. the
look and feel is depending on the terminal. irssi cant change them
without breaking other stuff. but you can change the meaning of %b in
your terminal config. all those color entries just in formats.txt just
refer to the ANSI colors.

thats no real point. i think there are much more people who got used to
the current way ;)
and for us coders it would be some kind of hierarchy.

so it would be better to use 
nick.own or nick.pubmsg ;)

but i would stick to the current system ;)
