I think we can forget on relying the POLICE here. i think they r inefficient as there's once
our team/my friends got into a fight and we called the POLICE. after waiting for 10mins, no
signs of their arrival can be conceived. Pls let us know if it works seeking the RANDWICK Council
for help coz this case ain't something new to those who have stayed here for years...so pray hard
that the COUNCIL would look into this matter seriously or otherwise i think should try looking for the MAYOR office.

Hey,
I live on kennedy street.. I know that middle street, meek street area, when you arecoming up from kingsford is very dark at night and also the library steps up to kennedy street has a lot of trees and not very well litted.
I have been thinking about it...i.e to write a letter to the city council to tell them about the problem and urge them to install more lights....
I will write a letter myself.. because i live in the area.. However, maybe for it to be more effective, those concerned could write letters to them too.. or call...or fax...
(more people affected will have more effect , i guess.. so if many people complain, they will take actions faster..)
I think kingsford is under randwick city council...
