Mississauga-The ASFC condemns the sad and irreligious remarks made by Pope Benedict XVI regarding arguably the single most influential person in human history*; Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family). Pope Benedict XVIs uncalled for comments are hurtful to billions of persons around the world and a direct insult to the unprecedented historic legacy of Pope John Paul II who worked to bridge interfaith
dialogue. Such comments, which are purposely made, even if being quoted out of context, are irresponsible and do not serve the greater good of humanity and the efforts to bridge the growing gap between Men of all faiths, and as such, they do not befit one regarded as being holy by millions of Catholics worldwide.
In an effort to prevent more international outcry, the ASFC calls on the Pope to immediately personally clarify what exactly it is he intended to say, so as to help quell the unrest and distress he has caused millions of people world wide, an action not befitting a genuine man of God.

The ASFC believes these comments were motivated by the influence of
a nefarious plan to divide Muslims and Christians, the strong and possible unity between whom was seen clearly during the recent relentless bombing and terrorizing of Lebanon and its innocent citizens. Therefore, the ASFC also urges Muslim civilians worldwide to react in a civil and responsible manner and attempt to work closer with Christians and inform them Islam requires Muslims to believe in the Holy Bible, honor the Virgin Mary, believe in Jesus Christ and prepare for his miraculous Second Coming to slay the Anti-Christ, a belief no other religion shares with Christianity other than the religion brought forth by the Holy Prophet Muhammad: Islam.
