Dear All ,
While I do understand that ISPAK is under funded ,
I do not know why was the election fund of 10,000 per voter required at this
time . I think most of us agree that funds are required to run ISPAK and
ISPs are not contributing as much as they should , infact some members are
still to pay the initial Registration charges and Annual fees which are
quite low . While we get ready to collect all the arrears ( onetime
registration + monthly charges ) , I am still unclear about the motive of
the election fund ... besides making it hard for members to vote
!
Anyway , now that the Rs.10,000 has been passed by
the General vote , I feel that it would be best if the funds collected under
the Election Fund are not utilized by the present body and should be
reserved for handing over to the new body ; while all arrears collected
should be utilized for paying off short term accumulated debts . This
ofcourse is the only reasonable thing to do at this time , as otherwise we
would end up with a nely elected office bearers with a bankrupt ISPAK .
Additionally , I would propose that the funds collected from the members
should be only in the shape of Crossed Cheques issued by the ISP , all other
forms of payment e.g cash etc should not be allowed as this would otherwise
raise serious objections ... not to mention , it would give rise to
controversies , something that must be avoided at this time. In interest of
fair and impartial elections , I would strongly recommend that
:
a)
Only Crossed Cheques in favour of ISPAK should be acceptable from the
members .
b) The Election fund should be reserved for
handover to newly elected body.
c) Registration and Renweal arrears may be
used for paying outstanding debts .
c)
The Election procedure should be comprehensively developed .
I
also feel that the date for voter eligibility should be extended to
accomodate a larger group , however this is just a suggestion .
Thanks,
Naeem Haq

of Arrears
Thank you Bhutta Sahib. I will
request you to make one clarification about the list of ISP's which
are still not ISPAK members.
Pasha forgot to mention the amount these guys should pay in
the excel sheet. I think they should all pay Rs 20,000 if they want
to vote (5000 registration, 5000 renewal and 10000 election fund).
If they do not want to vote then they can pay 10,000 and become
members. It is 100% according to the
MoA.
If you agree then please issue the necessary
clarification.
Regards
Azfar
