Features of Flexibill

Radius daemon. �

number of Packages (hourly rates) can be defined, modified and deleted by
operator. �
Access
to Internet can be controlled by Allowed login time, Day of week etc. Flexibill will not allow user to connect
except this specified period and will drop customer on reaching the end limit of
such period. e.g a user may be allowed to connect during
9am to 5pm. In this case Flexibill will no allow this customer to login before
9am and will drop if customer is still logged on at 5pm. �
Access
can also be controlled on the basis of daily, weekly, monthly time limits. e.g
if a user is allowed usage of 5 hours daily, Flexibill wont allow such user to
go beyond 5 hours in all in a day even if such user may have 400 hours on his
credit. �
Users
can check their balance, payment details and session detail for any
period. �
Users
can change password from web interface provided by
flexibill. �
Dealers
can create new accounts, change packages, add payments using web interface up to
the limit authorized by Flexibill operator. �
Flexibill operator has full
control over the activities of dealers and support staff. �
Flexibill can reach
authentication speeds up to 60/70 authentications per second on an intel based
PIII 500MHz machine supporting 2,50,000 users. �
Daemon
is written in ANSI C with PHP4 front end and MySql back
end. �
Flexibill can be ported to
Windows 2000, NT, Windows Me on request. �
Access
can be restricted on Caller’s telephone number, Called telephone number, Network
Access Server, Port number, connection speed requested
etc. �
Fixed
ip, routes etc can be assigned by flexibill to each user or group of
users. �
Multilink, Number of
simultaneous sessions can be controlled by Flexibill. �
Compression schemes like Van
Jacobson TCP/IP can be configured for each user or group of
users. �
Flexibill is recommended on
a RAID to provide service even in event of hard disk crash or
failure. �
Management interface of
Flexibill provides reports to aid management in making timely
decisions
Integration of new system and old system. Customized code will be
written to port current system to new system. Porting will be transparent to the
internet customers.
Creation of unique accounts. System assures uniqueness of accounts no matter if account is being created by customer support personnel, dealer or by customer itself.
System Administration. System administration can be
done via operator interface, which is a web based interface protected at three
levels i.e IP Address, Basic http
authentication and Flexibill authentication. IP assignment, dynamic routing, and
a number of other features as detailed in Flexibill demo are available through
this interface.
Dealers Administration. Dealers can be created,
modified, deleted and their other parameters like issuing of receipt books,
reconciliation of receipts, changing of dealer authorized limits and monitoring
of their activities can be done using operator interface.
Dealer Interface. Dealer interface is to be
used by authorized dealers. It is web based interface and dealers can access it
from anywhere on the net. Dealers can create new accounts, receive payments from
existing customers, change package of customers etc. Dealer interface also helps
in racking dealers own records like how many receipts dealers has issued, what
is the total amount of due to be paid by the dealer to
isp.
Online Billing. Users can access their
payments, session and CLI details from user interface. It also provides simple
and advanced queries for user. It allows user to change pin and
password.
Audit Trail. Flexibill strictly follows internationally accepted audit rules. It records every action of support people, dealer and operator in a log file. This log file can be checked by operator and management but can only be rotated or deleted by system administrator.
Online Termination. Flexibill drops users as
soon as their balance drops to 0.
Scratch Card. Flexibill provides an interface for scratch card generation and printing. Users can login using user id and password provided in scratch card and then fill information like their real name. NID card, phone, fax and their address etc and agree with any online terms of service.
Distributed Database. Flexibill uses distributed
database and provides roaming through radius proxy and
realms.
Management Reports. Flexibill management
interface, which is again a web interface, provides many standard and customized
reports. Standard reports include
revenue collection report, Port utilization report etc.
