The system is not easy to install and configure. There are some planning
questions you need to ask yourself before you start, like:
Will you be using the Access database (on NT) or a real database like Oracle
(on UNIX)?
- the Access database starts to bog down in a real enterprise.
Who and how many people will have access to the console(s)?
How many people will have a report console(s)?
- this causes problems as the number increases and they want up to
the minute data all the time.
There are many more, but these have caused the most pain in the
recent past for me. The systems need to be sized correctly, and please add
enough memory.

If it to complex then customers may not install it correctly.. If the
installation routine for each platform was flexible enough to detect what
system it was running then execute the correct installation script.
This has done before..
