Hello Luis,
Thank you for posting this question. System Scanner Console 4.0 works with
an earlier version of Microsoft MDAC - 2.03 or 2.1 SP2. Unfortunately
Microsoft introduced a change at MDAC 2.5 which meant that System Scanner
4.0 does work with that release of MDAC.
System Scanner Console 4.1, which will be generally available at the end of
September works with Microsoft MDAC 2.5.
This problem I understand impacts the System Scanner Console and RealSecure
Workgroup Manager(Console) NOT the System Scanner Agents or RealSecure OS
Sensor. The 'work around' at this time is to run the System Scanner Console
and RealSecure Workgroup Manager (Console) on different systems. The
agent/OS sensor happily run together on the same system.

Hi everyone..
i have a doubt.. and maybe some kind of problem.. i�m actually using system
scanner 4.0 and realsecure 5.0 i�m going to put both of them in a single
machine... mi doubt is can both programs work with MDAC 2.5.. when i
install realsecure without MDAC 2.5 it asks for it..
I saw today some ISS whitepapers and there says that system scanner can�t
work with MDAC 2.5.. it uses a previous version.. 2.03 i think..
Does anyone have a similar problem.. ???
