When I check the version on the SQL service manager it shows that I have MSDE 8.00.760 installed and running, but ISS 7 beta will not install… it says “the installed version of SQL server is less than 8.0 service pack 3”. Any thoughts? Perhaps the setup has a switch to ignore the MSDE version check?
