Maven issues https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/MNG-7868 and its followup,
[https://github.com/apache/maven/issues/9049,] may be relevant here as well.
The upgrade to Maven 3.9.15 seems to have resolved the build breaks, so I'm
resolving this as fixed, but we should keep an eye out for any similar build
problems.
