I agree with all the points of view here. My main idea is to give something 
useful to end-users. If we blindly base our mindset on limiting the codebase to 
just a subset of its potential, we're going to lose speed and we won't go 
anywhere. At the same time, I think we should be careful about not exploding 
the codebase dimension. There must be a tradeoff. Even keeping everything 
outside of the core brings some concern, like constantly aligning and possibly 
losing the ability to be on track.
