Claus Ibsen created CAMEL-25202:
-----------------------------------

Summary: camel-jbang - camel transform route reads Java routes
without compiling them
                 Key: CAMEL-25202
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-25202
             Project: Camel
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: camel-jbang
            Reporter: Claus Ibsen

camel transform route turns Java DSL routes into YAML or XML by running them:
it compiles the RouteBuilder, may download dependencies, starts Camel and dumps
the routes. That takes seconds and runs the project's code.

With the Java DSL parser of CAMEL-25148 the Java routes can be read into the
model without compiling them. camel transform route should do that by default
when the files are Java and every route can be read completely, and write the
same output with the same dump strategy; when a route cannot be read that way
(a lambda, a value known only at runtime) or placeholders are to be resolved,
it compiles them as before. A --compile option forces compiling.
