Claus Ibsen created CAMEL-26317:
-----------------------------------

             Summary: camel-console - the sql-trace console shows a + of a
statement as a space
                 Key: CAMEL-26317
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CAMEL-26317
             Project: Camel
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: camel-core
            Reporter: Claus Ibsen
            Assignee: Claus Ibsen
             Fix For: 4.24.0

The sql-trace dev console (SqlTraceDevConsole, new in 4.24) reads the statement
of a sql: endpoint from the endpoint URI and decodes it with URLDecoder, which
turns a + into a space:

{code}
INSERT INTO customers (id, country, orders) VALUES (...) ON CONFLICT (id) DO
UPDATE SET orders = customers.orders + EXCLUDED.orders
{code}

was shown as

{code}
... DO UPDATE SET orders = customers.orders   EXCLUDED.orders
{code}

An agent that read the trace (camel_runtime_sql_trace, in the local-model
benchmark of Oct 25-26 2026) then "fixed" a clause that was right.

The endpoint URI encodes a space as %20, so a + is a + of the statement. The
console now keeps it, and a % that is not an escape no longer fails the console
(the statement is shown as written).
