This issue is being investigated by a coding agent (on behalf of gnodet).
The bug in {{storeFileDirectly}} has been confirmed by reading the source code
at
{{components/camel-jsch/src/main/java/org/apache/camel/component/scp/ScpOperations.java}}:
the method opens the {{exec}} channel but never calls
{{channel.setCommand(...)}} or {{channel.connect(timeout)}}, and never
disconnects in a finally block. This matches exactly the reporter's analysis.
