Mohammed Hawa commented on CB-2410: ----------------------------------- Exactly. I am referring to both: controlling device volume and the programmatic equivalent of the mute switch. If one can be implemented in iOS and both implemented in Android, WP7, WP8,... it would be great. It would also be nice to be able to read the current setting of the device volume, since you can set it to zero (during the night, for example), and then bring it back to the previous setting at morning. > Silent mode and/or controlling device volume > -------------------------------------------- > > Key: CB-2410 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-2410 > Project: Apache Cordova > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: Android, iOS, WP7, WP8 > Reporter: Mohammed Hawa > Assignee: Joe Bowser > > I'd like to request a phonegap API that can mute the device and/or control > the audio volume of the device. This can be useful for many applications. > I know that there are differences in what iOS and Android allow the developer > to do, but I am guessing if the feature is implement at least on Android and > WP8, it will be quite useful. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA.
