Note that the final design does *not* fix compile errors with mobile spec's
--thirdpartyplugins option (the CordovaWebView-as-a-View did, but I decided
changing the View hierarchy was worse than compile issues). All of the compile
errors are trivially fixable (I've done it), so I'm not too concerned about
them. We may want to consider releasing a "compat" plugin that has helpers for
things like `getPluginManager` and `getView`
