The "Consumer App Native Image" workflow fails on `main` (first seen on the push for b156ded). The `Compile native image` step stops after about 10.5 minutes with only: ``` [7/8] Laying out methods... [*****] (29.4s @ 7.13GB) Error: The operation was canceled. ``` Nothing newer was pushed to `main`, so the concurrency group did not cancel it, and the job's 60-minute timeout was not reached. The same code passed on the PR run. **Cause:** `consumer/gradle.properties` sets `org.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx12g`. Gradle grows into that heap while it generates the Fineract client and compiles, and it keeps the memory while the native-image builder runs beside it. The builder peaks at about 8.3 GiB (stage 4/8 in the log above). On the 16 GiB `ubuntu-24.04` runner the two together run out of memory in the layout stage. The runner is lost, and GitHub reports that as a cancellation rather than an out-of-memory error. **Fix:** cap Gradle (`-Dorg.gradle.jvmargs=-Xmx4g`) and the builder (`NATIVE_IMAGE_OPTIONS=-J-Xmx9g`) in `build-native.yml`. This changes the workflow only; the build itself and the image it produces stay the same. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
