I am tracing `VertexGroupReducer.reduce` calling
`createGroupRepresentativeTuple` which calls `setVertexGroupValue` which
creates a new `Either.Left` or `Either.Right`. Then `VertexGroupReducer.reduce`
calls `reset` which creates a new `Either.Right`.
