Mike Jumper commented on GUACAMOLE-1429:
----------------------------------------

{quote}
There is an error when the user has a semicolon in the password.
{quote}

There should be no variation in behavior with respect to the content of a
password.

Which password are you referring to here? The password specified in connection
parameters? The user's password provided during login?

If an error is occurring within Guacamole resulting in that generic error
message being shown, there should be an error logged within the Tomcat logs on
the server. What do you see in those logs when this occurs?

If there is something on the network between the user and Guacamole that is
failing, that may result in a failure response being returned to the browser by
that service/appliance/application, without Guacamole itself encountering any
error.
