It is the user password provided during the login.

 

There is no error in the catalina-log.

 

There is a reverse proxy in between. but I don't think this is the problem. 
Your question brought me to another test. We have another Guacamole Server, 
also with auth-ldap but without the mysql backend. The other Guacamole doesn't 
get this error. Same version.
