If you still want to keep the test, one option is to add it to the automation tests of PXF, which as far as I know were not open sourced yet (maybe this is a good reason to do that :)). Another option is to make it a separate module - not part of the unit tests, and not something that is running as part of the compilation. Maybe wait for other people to give their opinion on that matter...
