Jean-Marc Spaggiari commented on HBASE-11079:
---------------------------------------------

Hum.

Both oneshot sync and no syncs are causing issues ;)

Oneshot will make it difficult to compare previous 0.94 versions with recent
0.94 versions while no syncs makes it difficult to compare 0.94 versions with >
0.94 versions.

I'm a bit more for the sync between the 2 to be able to compare them and make
recommendations. When there is new features added in trunk ok 0.98 I like to
see them in 0.94 to be able to test that too. The more perfs we can test the
more stable the releases are.

My 2ยข ;)

> Will be a challenge wherever the branches vary functionally, but it would be
> good to normalize the test tools (LoadTestTool and PerformanceEvaluation) as
> much as possible among the active branches so we can compare them.
