Andrew Purtell commented on HBASE-11672: ---------------------------------------- bq. I think we do have command line support [1] baked into the IntegrationTestBase class tha ITBLL is derived from. As I said, this only supports hardwired monkeys "calm", "slowDeterministic", "unbalance", and "serverKilling" (missed that last one last time... wasn't on trunk). Have a look at MonkeyFactory. Adding a generic policy monkey, something that might accept JSON spec or whatever detailing policies and actions to take, is an interesting enhancement to consider but not the proposed change at hand. What I would like to do with this test is run ITBLL with constant region movement. > Add IntegrationTestBigLinkedListWithRegionMovement > -------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HBASE-11672 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-11672 > Project: HBase > Issue Type: Test > Reporter: Andrew Purtell > Assignee: Andrew Purtell > Priority: Minor > Fix For: 0.99.0, 2.0.0, 0.98.6 > > Attachments: HBASE-11672.patch > > > An integration test that extends ITBLL with a fixed monkey policy that moves > a random region of the table very often. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2#6252)
