fixed the StackOverflowError in HBASE-12917 and submitted a patch. Please
review it, after this I will merge these changes in 2.0.0.
HFilePerformanceEvaluation(2.0.0) looks to be running very slow compared to
HFilePerformanceEvaluation(0.98.10).
