Fine. Could have a 1.3 that comes quickly after 1.2. Means 1.2 has slow
increment/append. Would have to write this up in known issues.

to other releases in 1.2 to hold off. How about a quick 1.3 that is 1.2, this
fix, other fixes about ready to go in, and the Spark stuff? Can get that all
