bq. Other current releases already have the slow increment/append so it's not
making the situation worse relative to other releases in 1.2 to hold off.
A sibling issue has made it so branch-1.0 and branch-1.1 have a route to fast
increment (set a configuration and allow that increments are their own thing
and away you go). There is no means available in 1.2. HBASE-12751 changed the
write pipeline. Would be cool to have this in 1.2. You are quiet [~eclark]
