Chia-Ping Tsai commented on HBASE-4224: --------------------------------------- {quote}Can you Scan behind the Deletes; i.e. with a Scan time in the past (Raw Scan so you can see Deletes and Puts)? Is the Delete a delete of the family or of a particular coordinate? You need the data that is behind a Delete that arrived at exactly the same timestamp? {quote} Thanks for your suggestions. The delete we add is for whole row so it is a simple code like "table.delete(new Delete(row))". We noticed this weird thing when doing the count. I have checked the hfiles and all data exist absolutely. I guess there is a chance of missing some kvscanners when launching the scanner. {quote}+1 on v0. {quote} Will commit it tomorrow if no objections. > Need a flush by regionserver rather than by table option > -------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: HBASE-4224 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HBASE-4224 > Project: HBase > Issue Type: Bug > Components: shell > Reporter: stack > Assignee: Chia-Ping Tsai > Priority: Major > Fix For: 2.0.0-beta-2 > > Attachments: HBASE-4224.v0.patch, HBase-4224-v2.patch, > HBase-4224.patch > > > This evening needed to clean out logs on the cluster. logs are by > regionserver. to let go of logs, we need to have all edits emptied from > memory. only flush is by table or region.
