I downloaded the build artifacts from the first occurrence of the problem
(https://ci.hive.apache.org/job/hive-precommit/job/master/2532/artifact/test-results.tgz)
and checked the surefire-reports for split-20, which is the spit that hang.
Tests are definitely running but as explained under HIVE-29008 we don't see
this information in the CI console.
