Lewis John McGibbney edited comment on HTRACE-60 at 1/9/15 2:38 AM:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
[~cmccabe], basically exactly what you have described should be smack bang in
front of me (and every other user) as I land on index.html.
It really paints a clearer picture of what the project is.
We have clusters for scientific workflows at NASA JPL and it is becoming more
appealing the more I learn about HTrace to use it on some of them.
Oh, and thanks for the explanation :)

> Create a 'What is HTrace' commentary section for the Website

> Key: HTRACE-60

> Issue Type: New Feature

> I think the website is dynamite.
> I do however think that we could better communicate 'What HTrace is'.
> This could potentially feature right as you land on the index.html, or we
> could potentially link to it from there and have an entire page with some
> graphs showing what tracing is good for and what trace visualizations look
> like.
> I've not been able to implement HTrace in any serious setting however I am
> considering it for Apache Gora if I get the time.
> What do you guys think about this ticket? I am think from the perspective of
> someone completely new to HTrace!
