Your test spans seem reasonable... Span19 has the highest "begin time," which
is exactly what is expected.
I can't seem to reproduce the test failure here. Can you post the whole test
log you get from {{./gobuild.sh test -v -test.run=TestReapingOldSpans}} or
similar?
