where tables only have one field - `schema` - and that field is a string. There's an expectation that users send in a JSON-formatted string that conforms to their schema (what you typed out). We then use json.Unmarshal to convert JSON-formatted string <-> Iceberg-go types. We could do this, but it would reek havoc with the Terraform plan assembly. All of the different Terraform schema objects have various options to control the comparison between user intent <-> cloud state. Terraform displays that diff in a very nice graphical manner. If we're just doing a string diff, users won't really be able to understand what the diff is on tables with large schemas. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
