Based on the discussion in the community sync and on the [dev list thread](https://lists.apache.org/thread/kjhm10gyptyhl9bmrzzd17b2b58zlp4c) related to hadoop trash, we propose removing this functionality as it: - provides inconsistent support for deletion and recovery - has confusing/surprising behavior depending on the environments configuration - is unnecessary as Iceberg has history/restore functionality built in -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
