Guillaume Nodet commented on KARAF-245:
---------------------------------------

If you plan to deploy things that use the servicemix specs (or any JEE
technology), you should use the karaf jre properties and deploy the appropriate
specs and implementations. In Karaf, we decided not to do so after some users
complained that not all packages were exported.
There's no way to satisfy both sides at the same time unfortunately (unless the
JRE itself becomes OSGi friendly).

> Export SUN packages in config.properties like done in ServiceMix

> Hi Claus,
> ServiceMix is using a different etc/config.properties from the karaf, and it
> exports these sun packages
> com.sun.org.apache.xalan.internal.xsltc.trax, \
> com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.dom, \
> com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp, \
> com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.xni, \
> I'm afraid you need to do the same thing in karaf etc/config.properties file
> if you are try to using the saaj-impl from sun.
