I really have no clue how to approach this. According to the DropWizard docs
only one MetricsReporter should be necessary per application. But there are
quite a number of places where we make the call with null so it seems more
complicated than I want to deal with tonight.
Andrzej: If you have any general guidance here, I can implement.
