Chris M. Hostetter commented on SOLR-14033: ------------------------------------------- well ... step #1 would be if you could share some of the full reproduce lines from the seeds you found, along with the full (nested) exception to confirm if it's an SSLException wrapping that SocketException you mentioned – if it is, then it sounds like SOLR-13778 and we should move discussion there. if not then i have no idea. (SOLR-13778 seems to be a very low level SSL/JDK problem that can seem to strike any solr test using SSL on windows starting with jdk11, but some tests seem to tickle it more then others – nothing in the Solr logs seems to give any indication when/why it's going to happen – my best guess is it's either a JDK bug or a Jetty bug ... but those are very uninformed guesses. My involvement has just been to spot the patterns i mentioned in that jira, i don't actually understand it enough to debug it) > Fix Hadoop tests with security manager > -------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-14033 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-14033 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Test > Security Level: Public(Default Security Level.
