Okay, I've gotten around that I think. I'll push current state in the morning.
The Solr Core tests are essentially _damn fast_ (they can be still be faster)
HOwever, there is some work to do around hardening, both while running via
single JVM as well as lots of various parallel JVM runs. So there are some bugs
to find, no doubt, but that's really the whole point of this stage in the code.
Startup and shutdown *rip*. And like a high speed train, things go bad unless
the rail is solid.
