@kaivalnp this changes the on-disk format and consequently cannot be done without protections. The 10.4 release is currently in progress and should only be committed to for critical bugs. > Notice that we initially get good performance from the vectorized function, but I'm guessing it eventually gets deoptimized because of cache line misses?
