Scott, thanks for update and great explanation. I applied patch, but it require some cleanup and refactoring before I can commit. Apart from that, this patch does not handle projects that include multiple modules, but it probably should go into a separate issue. Robert, please fill separate issues for things you found, such as refresh stuff and WTP issues (though I think Dmitri already created one for WTP). BTW, it is also interesting to have an option to use this resolver when launching maven (including launcing linked to the build events).
