Continuum hangs when trying to build Continuum

When adding Continuum
(http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/continuum/trunk/pom.xml) as a project in
Continuum, it stops at a certain point when the build is executed (webapp seems
to hang).
The project and all nested modules are added successfully, with all files
downloaded. The error happens during execution of the build.
The running continuum server is built from trunk and started with 'mvn
jetty:run'. The error does not occur with Continnum 1.0.3.
