Yes, it's normal not to have the checksum file in {{target}}. But the checksum 
file is still installed in the local repository; after doing {{mvn clean 
install}} and the change above, you'll have a {{ant-commons-jelly-2.0.jar.md5}} 
and a {{ant-commons-jelly-2.0.pom.md5}} in your local repository, alongside the 
artifacts.
